Same Old Tunes (Burning Heart 1994; Epitaph 1998) The first, and in many peoples opinion the best, album released by Millencolin. It was released in September 1994 and has 12 songs on it. The album is very fast, has a very poppy sound and has lots of ska on it. The album is no longer available as "Tiny Tunes" since Burning Heart Records got sued by "The Warner Brothers". The reason why they got sued is that the front cover looks too much like WB's "Tiny Toons". The album is now called "Same old tunes" and has a more simple cover, picturing the "banana-boy" from the backside of the first version. Get it ! Tracklisting M r. It was released on the 9th of October in ´95 and it went straight up to 4th place on the Swedish ch- arts, which is very good. The single "The story of my life" had been played for a month constantly on the radio and the video was rolling all days long on the Swedish TV-channel "Z-TV". There was one thing though with the release of the album. "The release gave us some kind of fuckin' Offspring hype", Erik said in an interview...not good. The album kept selling great numbers and it resulted in an upcoming Epitaph release... Get it ! For Monkeys (1997 Burning Heart / Epitaph) Here they are again, with another bunch of soft-songs. Maybe you are wondering, why it took'em so long. Third album, less of ska, and not so many fast ones. More of poppy, pushy songs, those that they do be- st now. With a schedule tight, stu- diotime in sight, they have mostly been out touring. 9 to 5 at Unisound in Janu- ary ´97, they had the great- est time with Dan as engineer and now the outcome is what you see. Another great album with kick ass songs like "Lowlife"and "Light's Out". Three singles are also available in various formats....so... this time.....buy or die !! The Melancholy Collection ( 1999 Burning Heart ) This CD is a compilation of Millencolin's first two EP's, the B-sides of their singles and some songs recorded only for compilations. The main reason why they are releasing this album is because the singles are pretty hard to find in stores, especially outside Europe, and they usually cost more than a full price album. Pennybridge Pioneers ( 2000 Burning Heart/Epitaph ) Millencolin's latest album. Many people complain that they lost their "style" of music on this one which for the most part is true in my opinion but it is still a good album with songs like " No Cigar", " Devil Me", "Penguins and Polarbears", " Material Boy" " Highway Donkey". They also did their first Ballad on this album, which is ironically called "The Ballad".
